Well for starters, when it comes to the quality of the interior, there’s no denying that Rolls-Royce is pretty much the best in the business. Every element of the interior is made from high-quality materials, and the touch of pretty much every button just exudes quality.
What’s more, the high-quality look & feel continues through to the exterior. However, unlike the regular Dawn, this is the Black Badge edition, so you’ll find a black grille & spirit of ecstasy at the front through to black exhaust surrounds at the rear, to name just a few design upgrades.
What’s more, the Black Badge edition doesn’t just change the styling - it means you’re treated to even more performance from the engine! So under the bonnet, you’ll find a 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12 that delivers 600hp & 840Nm of torque!

Here it is, the McLaren 720S Spider! There’s no denying that this all-new McLaren sports car looks great, but the greatness doesn’t stop there… The 720S comes packing a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 that can achieve 720hp, hit 0-62mph in 2.8 seconds and can hit a top speed of 212mph! SUV drag races don’t get much better than THIS!
We’ve got our hands on the all-new Range Rover, and it’s going head-to-head against an Audi SQ7, a Mercedes-AMG GLE 63, and a Bentley Bentayga!
So let’s see how these mighty SUVs compare. Starting with the Range Rover, it’s packing a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 that can produce 530hp and 750Nm of torque. It’s pretty heavy, weighing in at 2,510kg, and it’ll set you back at least £138,000.
Next up we have the Audi. It’s the cheapest car here, at £81,000, however, it’s also the least powerful! It’s got a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet that can produce 507hp and 770Nm of torque. It’s also lighter than the Range Rover, tipping the scales at 2,265kg.
Alongside the SQ7 we have the Bentayga. With yet another 4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet, the Bentley can put down 550hp and 770Nm. It’s pretty heavy, at 2,415kg, and it’s the most expensive car here, at £182,000.
Then finally, we have the GLE 63. It’s equipped with a (you guessed it…) 4-litre twin-turbo V8, but it’s up on power compared to the rest, at 612hp and 850Nm. It tips the scales at 2,420kg, and a new one will set you back £124,000.
So will the GLE walk it? Or could the Audi spring a surprise? There’s only one way to find out - LET’S RACE!

Believe it or not, this is the new Jaguar XF. It may look like the previous model, as Jaguar seem to be borrowing Audi’s idea of uniformity in design, but noticeable changes have been made if you know where to look. For example the new XF now weighs 190kg less than the previous model thanks to an aluminium body. The previous model also did well to drive buyers towards the British manufacturer and away from German rivals such as the Mercedes E-Class, or Audi A6. The Bentley Continental GT and Flying Spur are truly magnificent cars, and given their remarkably affordable used prices in many cases - highly tempting ones too. But as the saying goes ''There is nothing more expensive than a cheap Bentley.'' With tons of engineering, high specialist labour costs, and frames packed with wiring and technology, they can be a nightmare when they go wrong.
But with full time 4WD, 200 mph potential even in their base forms and the best selling W-configuration engine of all time - which itself directly benefitted from the development programme which birthed the Bugatti Veyron, their appeal is undeniable. And many owners absolutely love theirs with minimal issues even over many years.
So with plenty of merit both for and against buying a W12 Bentley, here are my thoughts as a former Flying Spur owner on some of the best and worst aspects from my time with the car...
