Michi is Rotel’s flagship series of products built on the history, heritage and experience of over 55 years. They are carefully engineered with premium components to deliver the ultimate sonic performance.

The Rotel Michi X5 is a high-fidelity Class AB Stereo Power Amplifier. It is designed to deliver power output of a whopping 600W @ 4 ohm and up to 350W @ 8 ohm per channel. This high power output makes it ideal to drive high wattage speakers, especially floorstanders. At the heart of the X5 is a custom engineered, high efficiency, oversized, ultra-low noise, toroidal transformer with independent voltage regulators isolating the digital, analog and amplifier circuits to eliminate unwanted noise and distortion. This is followed by a premium AKM 32-bit/768kHz Digital to Analog Converter or DAC to ensure highest fidelity signal conversion.

For wired input connectivity, the Michi X5 has a single pair of balanced XLR, a single pair of Moving Coil and Moving Magnet phono RCA inputs for turntables and 4 pairs of RCA inputs to connect CD players, radio tuners and other auxiliary devices. For wired output connections, the amplifier sports RCA connectors for mono sub and pre outs.

For digital connectivity, the X5 sports 3 x Optical and 3 x Coaxial inputs with SPDIF LPCM resolution support of up to 192kHz/24 bit. Then there is a PC-USB input that supports two resolution modes. First, there is a USB Audio Class 1.0 with a resolution support of up to 96kHz/24-bit. Then there is a USB Audio Class 2.0 with a resolution support up to 384kHz/32-bit. All of these come in handy to support hi-res audio formats such as DSD, DoP and Master Quality Authenticated or MQA. Other connectivity options include an Ethernet port, RS232 port and 3.5mm 12V triggers for control and automation. To connect your speakers, the X5 integrates dual sets of high-quality Rhodium plated speaker binding posts for bi-wire installations.

The Michi X5 is also Roon Tested to deliver the best experience using the Audiophile-grade multi-room software for connecting, streaming and music management. The high-end integrated stereo amplifier also has Bluetooth with apt-X and AAC for high-resolution wireless streaming from smartphones and other compatible devices. Rotel puts the finishing touch on this amplifier with a minimal and elegant industrial design. The front panel sports a high-resolution graphic display that is configurable to show the operating status, a 12-band Graphic EQ or a Peak Power Meter. Apart from front panel controls, the unit also ships with a sleek remote controller that aids in easy setup and operation.

Overall, the Michi X5 is a high-end stereo amplifier with multiple connectivity options that deliver low noise, a massive 600W power output, and superior sonic clarity in your music listening sessions.
