Yaz’ın annesi Emine’ye söylediği Murat’ın evlilik teklifi yalanı istemsiz şekilde öyle büyür ki Yaz da Murat da çaresiz bir şekilde bu yalanı en gerçekçi haliyle sürdürmeye çalışırlar. Yaz’ın bankadan kovuldum geçici olarak bu şirketteyim bahanesini Murat öyle güzel büyütüp Emine’ye satar ki Emine artık karşısında birbirine aşık iki genç olduğundan emindir. Hatta Murat’ın aşkından dolayı Yaz’ı kendi çalıştığı şirkette işe aldırdığını düşünür. Fakat tabii ki bu şirketin de yalan çıkma ihtimalini göz ardı etmez ve müstakbel damadı ve kızıyla birlikte çalıştıkları yere gider. Smile Müzik’in patronunu yeni vokal konusunda ikna etmeye çalışan Kemal’in de Mehmet’le birlikte şirkete gelmesi Yaz’ı zor duruma sokar. Kemal, Yaz’ı Mehmet’e Yaz’ı yeni vokal olarak tanıtır. Yaz, Kemal’in şarkıyı kendisiyle birlikte söylemesi için yaptığı bütün girişimleri reddetmiş olsa da bu ani karşılaşma durumu tamamen değiştirir. Yaz bir anda kendini afiş çekimlerinde, klip hazırlığında bulur. Emine de bu sürede boş durmaz ve bir an önce düğün yapma isteğiyle dünürüyle tanışmak ister.
Platonik aşıklar, aşık olduğu kişinin kendini fark etmesi için hep gözünün önünde olmak, onun için iyi bir şeyler yapmak, hayatını kolaylaştırmak ister. Sessiz, sakin ve umudunu hiç kaybetmeden görünür olmayı beklerler. Fakat sabrın sonu her zaman selamet olmaz. Görünmedikçe hırslanır, duyulmadıkça bağırır, fark edilmedikçe oradan oraya atılmaya başlarlar. Tıpkı Yaz gibi…
