Escrita y dirigida por Christopher Nolan, Oppenheimer es un thriller épico filmado en IMAX® que sumerge al público en la intensa paradoja del enigmático hombre que debe arriesgarse a destruir el mundo para salvarlo.

La película está protagonizada por Cillian Murphy como J. Robert Oppenheimer y Emily Blunt como su esposa, la bióloga y botánica Katherine "Kitty" Oppenheimer. El ganador del Oscar® Matt Damon interpreta al general Leslie Groves Jr. director del Proyecto Manhattan, y Robert Downey, Jr. interpreta a Lewis Strauss, comisionado fundador de la Comisión de Energía Atómica de EE. UU.

La nominada al Premio de la Academia® Florence Pugh interpreta al psiquiatra Jean Tatlock, Benny Safdie interpreta al físico teórico Edward Teller, Michael Angarano interpreta a Robert Serber y Josh Hartnett interpreta al pionero científico nuclear estadounidense Ernest Lawrence.
