The Lamborghini Aventador has been replaced by the new 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto. This Lambo V12 hybrid has over 1000 horsepower and some of the coolest car tech Lamborghini has ever produced. Lambo's new supercar will sell in 2024 for around $600,000 and will be one of the coolest cars in the world.

It's time to experience the Ferrari Daytona SP3! One of my favourite hypercars ever since introduction, join me for a run in the Icona model at the famous hillclimb course of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. A screaming V12, and an opportunity to go flat out, let's go!

Limited to only 599 units, the Daytona SP3 is the second model in Ferrari's Icona series, and on paper is an absolutely perfect recipe. With a 6.5l NA V12 making 840 horsepower, a removable targe roof panel, and bodywork that brings in elements of legendary Ferrari models, it's certainly sounding like a winning concoction.

However, what will it actually be like on the move, and that's what today is all about! I'm jumping on board with Pat Blakeley at the wheel, for a slightly damp run up the hillclimb during the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed, and that means an opportunity to find out what this car is all about. I make no secret that I've become a real fan of the LaFerrari in recent years, and this builds on that same formula so expectations are certainly very high!

So then, the Purosangue. In literal terms 'pureblood'. There's a V12 up front and all-wheel drive, but more importantly, four doors and four seats. Controversial. There's also a hatch and a decent enough boot, Ferrari even has plans for ski and bike carriers – carbon fibre and fabulously expensive, obviously – and the sense that if practicality had been skinned down to the bare essentials in favour of Ferrari-ness, you'd be looking at it.

The 6.5-litre V12 produces 715bhp, enough to launch the Purosangue from 0-62mph in 3.3 seconds. Sprightly... But how does it fare on Italy's snow covered mountain roads? Top Gear Magazine's Associate Editor, Tom Ford, finds out.

I bought a cheap Ferrari F430 with a Gated Manual Transmission. These are super rare models! Only issue is that this ferrari was an ex track day rental car and the engine and gearbox was in a thousand pieces when it got delivered. Ive now got to rebuild the car & the engine whilst keeping the whole thing cost effective!

Welcome to the most incredible petrol v hybrid v electric drag race you’ve ever seen!

We’ve got Mat in the all-electric Tesla Model X PLAID, and he’s going up against the Ferrari SF90 and Lamborghini Aventador SVJ!

So let’s see how these three powerhouses compare. Starting with the Tesla Model X, it comes with three electric motors which combine to make an eye-watering 1,020hp and 1,020Nm of torque! But of course, this is a family-friendly SUV, so it’s not light, tipping the scales at 2,539kg!

The SF90 is much lighter, weighing in at just 1,570kg! In terms of power, it’s packing a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 coupled with three electric motors to produce an almighty 1000hp and 800Nm!

Finally, we have the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, which amazingly is the least powerful car in this line-up, with its 6.5-litre V12 able to put down 770hp and 720Nm of torque. However, it's the lightest car in this line-up, coming in at 1,525kg.

This one is just too close to call! Can an SUV actually beat these supercars?! There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!

The 2024 Ferrari Purosangue (US$400,000, ~CAD$500,000) is the first four-door, four-seater to ever come out of the Ferrari factory in Maranello, Italy. A ferocious naturally-aspirated V12 sits up front-mid, creating 715 horsepower with a stunning 8250 rpm redline. It also has a unique active suspension system that Ferrari claims is a world first, and a trans-axle transmission layout to help achieve its target 49:51% weight distribution. But all that tech, power, and cabin room seems to weigh a lot.
